Biography

Jindřich Zeithamml (born 1949 in Teplice) graduated from the Kunstakademie in Düsseldorf. From 1995-2016 he was the head of the Sculpture Studio II at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague. In the 1980s and 1990s, he held a number of solo exhibitions, e.g. in Krefeld, Kunstverein, 1983; in Bonn, Kunstverein, 1992; in the State Gallery of Modern Art, Munich, 1993; or in the Kunstverein in Kassel, 1994. He was introduced to the Czech public in 1995 at the Municipal Library in Prague (GHMP), followed by solo exhibitions at the House of Art in České Budějovice, 2000; at the Egon Schiele Art Centre in Český Krumlov, 2002; in 2012 at the Topič Salon; in 2014 in Litoměřice at the Church of the Annunciation to the Virgin Mary; in 2016 at the St. In 2020, the exhibition The Picture of the Day in Twelve Stops of Diffusion was held at the Brillovka Gallery in Rožnov pod Radhoštěm.
